Join us at any of our upcoming events where we give back to our community. Some events are education-oriented to introduce the youth to gold prospecting, some are open to the public to learn gold panning basics or new techniques.
Nevada Outdoor Experience
June 22, 2024
Times: 9:00 am - 1:00 pm each day
Location: Capitol City Gun Club, Carson City, NV

Times: 10:00 am - 4:00 pm each day
Location: Reno Convention Center
More Information: This is a great event! Guests learn how to pan for gold and there are lots of rocks to see and purchase.
Members who help get in to the event for free.
Rye Patch State Park Kids Metal Detector Hunt
September 28, 2024
Times: 10:00 am start, until all items are given away
Location: River Bend Group Area
More Information: Prizes will be given for kids up to the age of 12 years.
Bring your metal detector or use one of ours.
Event Rules: Each young person will be able to find one token we hide in the ground with a metal detector. That Token will be turned in for a prize bag until all prize bags are gone.
